About the position
The Pharmacy Clerk/Technician position involves supporting the pharmacy operations under the supervision of a pharmacist. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and strong communication skills, as well as proficiency in computer usage. The position is available for both part-time and full-time shifts, primarily during the afternoon hours.
Responsibilities
- Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening
- Clean and organize labware throughout the day
- File literature
- Crush tablets and capsules
- Pack compounding medications
- Scan documents into the system
- Organize raw materials for use in compounding
- Comply with all security measures and quality standards
Requirements
- Valid Pharmacy Technician License
- Valid Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Experience in compounding medications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in English
