As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at Walgreens, you will play a crucial role in delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your primary responsibilities will include registering sales on the assigned cash register and providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, you will assist in the practice of pharmacy by using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. This position requires you to engage with customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, ensuring a positive customer experience by resolving issues and answering questions. You will model and share customer service best practices with all team members, emphasizing interpersonal habits such as greeting, maintaining eye contact, and courtesy. Additionally, you will be responsible for recommending items for sale to customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and well-organized workspace. Your duties will also include assisting pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow, entering patient and drug information accurately, and filling prescriptions while checking for possible interactions.
