About the position

The Pharmacy Data Analyst (PDA) at OneWorld Community Health Centers is responsible for generating and analyzing reports from pharmacy software systems to identify areas for improvement. This role involves statistical analysis of patient volume to ensure proper staffing, managing contract pharmacies, reconciling inventory reports, and ensuring the integrity of the 340b program. The PDA collaborates with the Associate Director of Pharmacy Operations to generate and analyze monthly pharmacy financials and works with accounting staff to analyze third-party payer trends. This full-time position is based in Omaha, Nebraska, and typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule with occasional Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Generate reports from pharmacy software systems.
  • Analyze reports to identify areas needing improvement within the pharmacy.
  • Statistically analyze daily patient volume to ensure proper staffing.
  • Manage contract pharmacies by reconciling inventory reports.
  • Analyze audits to ensure 340b program integrity.
  • Work with the Associate Director of Pharmacy Operations to generate monthly pharmacy financials.
  • Analyze financials for accuracy of entity charges.
  • Collaborate with accounting staff to analyze third-party payer trends.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in an analytical role within the healthcare industry preferred.
  • Obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification as required by Nebraska Pharmacy Laws.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, required.
  • Proficiency in English required; proficiency in Spanish preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated skills in process improvement and project management.
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, organization, detail orientation, and task completion.
  • Demonstrated understanding of assistance programs and community resources, with sensitivity to the needs of low-income and medically underserved populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups in a coordinating role.
