As Pharmacy Drug Use Policy (DUP) Manager at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will be collaborating with medical, nursing, pharmacy, and healthcare team members on the development, maintenance, and implementation of drug use policies, protocols, and initiatives, drug information services, and the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. The Manager is also responsible for human resources management of the Drug Use Policy team which consists of 6 Drug Use Policy Specialists and 3 Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacists. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to strategic planning for biologics and therapeutic advances; collaborating with medical staff in the development of evidence-based guidelines; evaluating new drugs for the formulary; development of content for the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee meetings; and collaborating with staff on complex therapeutic issues and target drug programs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with medical, nursing, pharmacy, and healthcare team members on drug use policies and protocols.

Requirements

  • Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy in the USA.
  • Post-graduate residency training preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
  • Board certification in pharmacology preferred.
  • BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical background.
  • Prefer candidate with Drug Use Policy background.
