About the position

The Pharmacy Intern - Grad position at CVS Health offers an opportunity for recent PharmD graduates to gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy environment. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, interns will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and delivering exceptional care. The role emphasizes continuous improvement in healthcare delivery, customer service, and collaboration within the pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care and ensure a safe pharmacy environment.
• Support the Pharmacy manager in developing and motivating Pharmacy Support Staff.
• Identify business opportunities and implement solutions to improve pharmacy performance.
• Adapt to changes in a dynamic healthcare setting and collaborate with team members.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes enthusiasm and pride in patient care.

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• 0-3 years prior relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP.
• Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
