Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Must be enrolled in Pharmacy school.
• Valid intern registration card from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Proficient in written and verbal English language.
• Proficient in computer knowledge and use.
• Basic math and algebra skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete projects as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.
• Perform regularly assigned quality assurance functions.
• Prepare medications for dispensing.
• Pull medications promptly and accurately from carousel or other storage areas.
• Assist in meeting legal requirements of the pharmacy and hospital.
• Perform pyxis stock maintenance functions.
