About The Position

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a vital role in the pharmacy team, working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your primary focus will be on ensuring patient safety and delivering exceptional care while adhering to regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards. Requirements

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift, scan, and bag items, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety in the Retail Pharmacy work environment.
• Support pharmacy professional practice and adhere to regulatory requirements.

• Assist in inventory management and workflow management, excluding final prescription verification.
