About The Position

As a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will play a vital role in the pharmacy team, working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Requirements

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframe.

• Immunization eligibility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy professional practice standards.
• Assist in managing regulatory requirements and quality assurance processes.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers.
• Support inventory management and workflow management, excluding final prescription verification.
• Lead patient care programs to promote health and wellness among customers.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a caring and enthusiastic work environment.
