About the position

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a vital role in the pharmacy team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while engaging in patient care programs. This position emphasizes continuous improvement in health care access, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy professional practices and regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory and workflow effectively within the pharmacy.
• Provide quality assurance and customer service to patients and customers.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.

Requirements

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
