About the position

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a vital role in the pharmacy team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment, focusing on patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy professional practice standards.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and quality assurance protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and caregivers.
• Manage inventory and workflow effectively, excluding final prescription verification.
• Lead patient care programs to promote health and wellness.
• Display empathy and compassion in interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Collaborate with team members to improve outcomes and foster a supportive culture.

Requirements

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframe.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift, scan, and bag items, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity.
