About the position

The Pharmacy Manager at Genoa Healthcare plays a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with behavioral health and addiction treatment needs. This position involves overseeing pharmacy operations, ensuring quality and financial performance, and providing exceptional service to consumers and clinic partners. The manager will also focus on staff development, community engagement, and promoting pharmacy services, all while adhering to state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create a great consumer and clinic partner experience and build solid relationships to meet their needs.
• Serve as an expert to the clinical staff and meet clinical outcomes.
• Counsel and educate patients on medication usage, adverse effects, and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards according to state and federal laws.
• Perform wellness services such as immunizations and preventive services.
• Drive financial profitability and identify growth opportunities for the pharmacy.
• Motivate, develop, and coach pharmacy staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Create an engaging team environment that promotes core values and culture.
• Promote opportunities and recruit top talent for pharmacy roles.
• Review key performance indicators with staff and identify trends for improvement.
• Conduct workforce and business planning for operational excellence.
• Build relationships with the community and clinic partners to promote pharmacy business.
• Drive marketing plans and materials to promote pharmacy offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Virginia.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.
• 2+ years of experience practicing as a pharmacist in Virginia or another jurisdiction in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of pharmacy leadership experience.
