About the position

The Walmart Rx Manager is responsible for operating the pharmacy with a focus on patient care and community involvement. This role requires strong clinical knowledge and business acumen, empowering the manager to work to the top of their license while ensuring high-quality patient care and developing strategies for growth. The position emphasizes autonomy, advocacy for new initiatives, and leadership by example, all within a fast-paced pharmacy environment equipped with necessary resources and technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders and administering immunizations.
• Drive sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas through effective merchandise presentation and inventory management.
• Model and enforce proper customer service approaches to ensure customer needs are met.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associates to engage with the community.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports and implementing safety controls.
• Supervise and develop associates by providing training, performance feedback, and recognition.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and documentation as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
• Pharmacy license by job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program.
