About the position

As a Pharmacy Manager at CVS Health, you play a crucial role in delivering human-centric health care by leading a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  • Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations, including patient safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure quality assurance and high standards of customer service.
  • Oversee personnel management and inventory management.
  • Drive financial profitability and loss prevention initiatives.
  • Implement patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
  • Motivate and develop pharmacy support staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities.
  • Identify business opportunities and implement solutions to improve performance.
  • Adapt to changes in the healthcare environment and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Foster a team culture that promotes enthusiasm and pride.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • Listed as the 'pharmacist in charge' on the pharmacy state license.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
