About the position

The Pharmacy Operations Analyst II at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is responsible for enhancing operations through data analysis and process improvement. This role involves coordinating projects between business and technical areas to ensure timely and accurate project completions, while also providing training and support to peers on new processes and systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong analytical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement business strategies aimed at improving processes, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes to identify issues and provide management recommendations for areas of improvement.
  • Provide training and support to peers on new processes, systems, and general onboarding.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Ensure that all business processes comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Serve as the liaison with various internal and external business partners to understand business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3 years of experience in a health care driven industry required.
  • 2 years of experience in a related field such as operations, technical, project management, product or other related field required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Possess strong analytical, technical, and decision making skills.
