About the position

As a Pharmacy Operations Coordinator I at Centene Pharmacy Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and compliant administration of the pharmacy program. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting various operational tasks related to the pharmacy program, ensuring that all processes are efficient and compliant with regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing benefit and formulary setups, conducting thorough testing for new and existing programs, and performing claims analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement. Your analytical skills will be essential as you navigate the complexities of pharmacy operations, and your ability to communicate effectively will help you collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve our goals. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accurate and compliant administration of the pharmacy program.
  • Support the development, coordination, and maintenance of the pharmacy program.
  • Review benefit/formulary setup and testing for new and existing programs.
  • Conduct claims analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a managed care environment.
  • Current state's Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy benefit management systems.
