About the position

The Pharmacy Operations Coordinator I plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and compliant administration of the pharmacy program within Centene's Medical Management/Health Services team. This position involves supporting various operational tasks related to the pharmacy program, including claims analysis and benefit/formulary setup.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, coordination, and maintenance of the pharmacy program.
  • Review benefit/formulary setup and testing (new and year over year).
  • Conduct claims analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.
  • Review MCHIM paper claims.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience and/or pharmacy managed care environment preferred.
  • Current state's Pharmacy Technician license preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Managed Care, Retail or PBM Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
  • Pharmacy Technician license and certification is a plus.
