About the position

The Pharmacy Operations Coordinator I plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and compliant administration of the pharmacy program within Centene's Medical Management/Health Services team. This position involves supporting various operational tasks related to the pharmacy program, including benefit setup, claims analysis, and adherence to company policies and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, coordination, and maintenance of the pharmacy program.
  • Review benefit/formulary setup and testing for new and year-over-year changes.
  • Conduct claims analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Comply with all company policies and standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of pharmacy experience in a managed care environment preferred.
  • Current state's Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
