About the position

The Pharmacy Operations Coordinator II plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and compliant administration of the pharmacy program within the Medical Management/Health Services team at Centene. This position involves supporting various operational tasks, answering team members' questions, and providing necessary support to enhance pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the administration of the pharmacy program is accurate and compliant.
  • Support team members by answering questions and providing assistance as needed.
  • Implement quality process improvement efforts in pharmacy operations.
  • Document requirements and create training materials for end users.
  • Review benefit/formulary setup and testing, both new and year over year.
  • Conduct data analysis to support operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a managed care environment.
  • Current state's Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
