About the position

The Pharmacy Operations Manager at PharMerica is responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations to ensure exceptional customer service and compliance with regulations. This role involves collaborating with the Pharmacy Director and staff to implement workflow improvements, manage personnel issues, and maintain operational quality while meeting performance targets and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Implement workflow and productivity measures to achieve performance targets and customer expectations.
• Execute Company Initiatives, Core Processes, and Quality Initiatives to improve service quality.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and Corporate Compliance Program.
• Assist in managing pharmacy personnel issues in conjunction with the Pharmacy Director.
• Communicate effectively with customers and resolve issues in collaboration with Client Services and Sales team.
• Monitor purchasing and inventory supply to meet operational goals.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma with a minimum of five years management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably long-term care (LTC).
• Detail-oriented and goal-oriented team player with strong oral communication skills.
