About the position
The Pharmacy/Pharmacist Assistant Leader is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience by implementing the Customer 1st strategy. This role involves achieving sales and profit goals, ensuring quality assurance standards, and effectively scheduling and supervising pharmacy technicians. The Assistant Pharmacy Manager will oversee customer service, operational workflow, technician supervision, and patient consultation, while embodying the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Create an outstanding customer experience by embracing the Customer 1st strategy.
- Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department.
- Control all established quality assurance standards and expenses.
- Properly schedule and staff technicians to meet business needs.
- Monitor all functions, duties, and activities for the department.
- Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws governing pharmacy practice.
- Maintain proper records, inventory, and security on all scheduled drugs.
- Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, and adherence to policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
- Current State Pharmacist Licensure in good standing
- Effective communication skills
