About the position

The position involves providing pharmacy products and services to customers while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws. The role includes processing prescriptions, maintaining pharmacy supplies, and delivering excellent customer service. The candidate will also be responsible for operating equipment, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a safe and organized pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of information and documentation as per company policies and legal guidelines.
• Assist with processing prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Stock and secure pharmacy supplies and merchandise.
• Enter prescription information and fill prescriptions accurately.
• Complete, maintain, and secure required paperwork and documentation.
• Provide customer service by acknowledging customer needs and resolving issues.
• Operate cash registers and related tools for processing customer purchases.
• Receive and stock merchandise from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Organize and maintain the pharmacy area according to company procedures.
• Handle claims and returns, zoning the area, and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, rotating, and organizing products.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
