About the position

The Pharmacy & Retail Operations Coordinator at Walgreens is responsible for coordinating and supporting the development of Pharmacy and Retail Operations programs that align with business objectives. This role involves developing and preparing reports, performing initial analyses of activity-based data, and supporting the enterprise-wide rollout of new products, programs, and services into Walgreens stores. The coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring consistency in the development, implementation, and management of these initiatives across the organization. In this position, the coordinator will provide prompt and professional communication via email, mail, and phone in response to program inquiries from stores, leadership, and internal departments. They will gather and interpret data to support project decision-making and measure the success of products, programs, and services. Additionally, the coordinator will be responsible for coordinating project meetings and preparing content for presentations to key stakeholders. Identifying ways to improve the development, implementation, and operation of new products, programs, and services based on market feedback and trends is also a key responsibility. The role requires close collaboration with Project Leads within the division and external stakeholders to meet project goals and ensure consistency and best practice sharing. This position is integral to Walgreens' mission of providing high-quality pharmacy and healthcare services to communities across the nation, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the development of Pharmacy and Retail Operations programs.
  • Develop and prepare reports and perform initial analysis of activity-based data.
  • Support the enterprise-wide rollout of new products, programs, and services into Walgreens stores.
  • Ensure consistency in the development, implementation, and management of new products, programs, and services.
  • Provide prompt and professional communications in response to program questions from stores, leadership, and internal departments.
  • Gather and interpret data to support project decision-making.
  • Measure and report on the success of products, programs, and services.
  • Coordinate project meetings and prepare content for presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Identify ways to improve the development, implementation, and operation of new products, programs, and services based on market feedback and trends.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Leads and external stakeholders to meet project goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR a high school diploma/GED and at least 1 year of experience in the Retail and/or Healthcare industry.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results.
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details to meet deadlines of multiple projects.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel, including functions like SUM, sorting, and inserting charts.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint, including formatting and customizing slides.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word, including inserting headers, page breaks, and adjusting table columns.
