Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated pharmacist preceptor
  • Take all steps required to fill prescriptions in compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures
  • Offer advice and consultation to customers and health care professionals regarding prescription knowledge, drug therapy, and health related products and concerns
  • Implement company initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability
  • Actively participate in clinical services

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Must hold a valid state intern license if required by the state of employment
  • Ability to readily and positively adapt to changes in schedule specifications, and work priorities as the business and customer needs demand
  • Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team

  • Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility).
  • The pay is $21.25 to $24.25 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
