About the position

The Pharmacy Technician at Marian Regional Medical Center is responsible for compounding chemotherapy agents and performing related tasks under the supervision of the Pharmacist-in-Charge. This role is essential in ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining high standards of care in the Infusion Center.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties including compounding chemotherapy agents while adhering to proper policies and procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to medication orders.
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Tech License (CPhT, ExCPT)
• Pharm Technician Certification - National (NHA, PTCB)
• Ability to read and communicate accurately and legibly
• Strong organizational skills
• Computer literacy
• Ability to follow both oral and written directions
• Attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

• Sterile compounding experience
