The Pharmacy Tech Certified Inpatient PRN position at Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley West involves assisting pharmacists in maintaining an organized pharmacy service, preparing medications for dispensing, and keeping accurate records. Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in promoting an organized and functional pharmacy service.
- Prepare medications for dispensing.
- Maintain accurate records of medications and pharmacy operations.
Requirements
- 1 year of hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred (completion of an Accredited Technician training course may substitute for experience).
- Working knowledge of computer systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active Pharmacy Technician License (Kansas), Certification (Colorado or Utah), Provisional Certification (Colorado), or Provisional License (Utah) required. Provisional Certifications must obtain State Certification within 12 months.
- Ability to exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
