Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
  • Manage inventory and ensure the availability of medications.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medication classifications.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
