About the position

The Pharmacy Technician at Sam's Club is responsible for providing exceptional member service, assisting with pharmacy products and services, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This part-time role involves processing prescriptions, managing pharmacy supplies, and maintaining the pharmacy area while collaborating with team members to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by acknowledging needs and assisting with purchasing decisions.
• Operate cash registers and related equipment to process member purchases and handle returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Assist with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases in accordance with company policies.
• Stock and secure pharmacy supplies and merchandise, ensuring the pharmacy area is organized and maintained.
• Complete and maintain required paperwork, forms, and documentation related to prescriptions.
• Collaborate with managers, co-workers, and customers to prioritize and complete work assignments.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Requirements

• Valid Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT/ExCPT) certification is required.
• Experience in a pharmacy or retail environment is preferred.

Nice-to-haves
