About the position

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician at Sam's Club, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining accurate inventory levels, processing transactions, and ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in good working order. As a Tire & Battery Technician, you will be a brand ambassador, promoting high-quality service and products while mentoring new technicians and assisting team members in their development. You will be responsible for completing work assignments efficiently, collaborating with managers and co-workers to identify priorities and deadlines. Your ability to adapt to change and learn from feedback will be essential in this fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests.
  • Educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, and service standards.
  • Utilize digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve service experience, and elevate associate engagement.
  • Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs to TBC Lead and track returns and special orders.
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, audit, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues and concerns.
  • Complete required documentation and ensure merchandise is packaged and stored according to company policies.
  • Model high-quality service and products as a brand advocate.

Requirements

  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
