About the position
The position involves assisting pharmacists in medication preparation and labeling activities, performing a variety of technical support functions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in medication preparation and labeling activities.
- Perform technical support functions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Provide customer service and assess customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records and manage files related to pharmacy operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License or currently enrolled first year PharmD student with an unencumbered Oregon Board of Pharmacy Intern license required.
- Successful completion of Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Basic working knowledge of diseases and the drugs dispensed by the pharmacy.
