Palmdale Regional Medical Center serves the region by providing high quality medical services to residents of the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding communities. Responsibilities

• Assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Prepare and distribute medications as directed by the pharmacist.
• Maintain the drug inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Function in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum one to three years hospital experience required.
• Pyxis experience with knowledge of Pyxis reports.
• General education level completion; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician License by California Board of Pharmacy is required.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
