About the position

The Pharmacy Tech I position is responsible for assisting with inpatient order processing, ensuring accurate medication filling, and coordinating the replacement of daily floor stock. This role also involves refilling shock carts, checking medications for expiration dates, and completing patient charging as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inpatient order processing by ensuring that all medications are correctly filled.
• Coordinate replacement of daily floor stock.
• Refill shock carts.
• Check medications for appropriate expiration dating.
• Complete all charging of patients as needed.

Requirements

• High School graduate or completion of GED.
• Medical and clerical background preferred.
• One-year experience in a pharmacy preferred.
