Responsibilities

• Maintain medication systems through preparation, compounding, packaging, and delivery of medications.
• Prepare IV medications as required.
• Assist pharmacists in meeting regulatory compliance requirements.
• Verify correct medication selection for automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) refill functions.
• Assist in the training and education of other pharmacy technicians.
• Fulfill all responsibilities of Pharmacy Technician I.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician license in Florida required.
• 6 months of technician experience in a relevant practice area required.
• Excellent math skills.
• Excellent customer service and compassion for patients.
• Good organization and communication skills.
• Ability to perform detailed tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Flexible and dependable.

Nice-to-haves

• One or more years of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
