You will also be required to complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and meet all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to your State's Board of Pharmacy guidelines. Initially, your duties will be restricted until you complete the necessary requirements, after which you can expand your role and build your clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge. Responsibilities

• Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to fill patient prescriptions accurately and safely.
• Provide compassionate care to patients and customers, exceeding their expectations.
• Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to state guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations regarding pharmacy practice.
• Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• Must be at least 16 years of age if no minimum age requirement is mandated by the state board of pharmacy.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program.
• Ability to concentrate on tasks without being distracted.
• Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening.
• Mathematical reasoning skills to solve problems related to prescriptions.
• Problem resolution skills to identify and address issues effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB National Certification.
