The Pharmacy Technician PRN position at Crestwood Medical Center involves assisting pharmacists in various pharmacy operations, ensuring the preparation and distribution of medications, and maintaining drug inventories. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of all doses of medication under the supervision of pharmacists.
- Maintain drug inventories, including re-stocking automated dispensing cabinets and drug packaging/re-packaging.
- Complete patients' records related to drug therapy, including aminoglycoside protocol orders and drug charges & credits.
Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician License
- PTCB Certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Registered Pharmacy Technician
- 1 year of clinical experience in a related field, preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the pharmacy field.
