Responsibilities

  • Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
  • Obtain information for new prescriptions, including insurance and coverage details.
  • Accurately interpret prescriptions and enter data into the dispensing computer system.
  • Reconcile third-party insurance billing issues for proper reimbursement.
  • Retrieve, count, and measure drugs, ensuring proper packaging and safety compliance.
  • Manage inventory ordering, receiving, and stocking of pharmacy supplies.
  • Answer phones to obtain prescription refill information and refer patient inquiries to the pharmacist.
  • Assess, input, and retrieve information from the computer system.
  • Operate the cash register and manage various payment methods and logs.
  • Perform administrative duties as required by the pharmacy.
  • Complete the Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician Program successfully.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station according to 5S standards.
  • Present a professional image to patients, adhering to dress code and nametag requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
