You will maintain the presentation of merchandise in the pharmacy by stocking and rotating products, removing damaged or expired goods, and organizing product displays. Additionally, you will be responsible for securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise to prevent loss and ensure a safe shopping environment. In this position, you will also handle claims and returns in accordance with company policies and procedures. This includes utilizing equipment for various merchandising functions, such as pricing merchandise, creating signs, and verifying inventory levels. You will monitor the prescription fulfillment process, resolving any issues that arise, such as processing third-party insurance claims and alerting patients to inventory shortages or the need for physician authorizations on refills. Your role will involve assisting the pharmacist in the prescription fulfillment process, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as corporate policies. Providing excellent patient/member service is a key aspect of your role. You will greet members, identify their needs, and initiate the prescription fulfillment process at the pharmacy drop-off window. You will also assist with prescription orders, promote pharmacy products and services, and resolve any member issues or concerns. Data entry into pharmacy software will be part of your responsibilities, where you will accurately transcribe prescription information and maintain patient records. Filling prescriptions will require you to retrieve orders, measure medications, and label prescription containers accurately. You will assist members during prescription pick-up by verifying their information and ensuring compliance with corporate policies. Completing work assignments will involve collaboration with managers, co-workers, and customers, while adhering to company policies and standards of ethics and integrity.
