About the position

As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee at United Supermarkets, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy teams and ensuring that our guests receive the best possible service. Responsibilities

  • Communicate with healthcare providers regarding patient care.
  • Review patient records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide immunizations where allowed by law.
  • Fill medication orders while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Assist the Pharmacist in maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy area.
  • Prioritize work and process prescription orders in compliance with laws and company policies.
  • Provide courteous customer service to pharmacy guests.

Requirements

  • Willingness to obtain proper licenses as required by local state requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare providers and customers.
  • Basic understanding of pharmacy operations and medication dispensing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a grocery store or pharmacy setting.
