Responsibilities

  • Complete didactic, simulation, and experiential components of the pharmacy technician training program.

  • Obtain Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration upon graduation from the training program.
  • Work as a pharmacy technician at Johns Hopkins Hospital for a minimum of 1 year after training completion.
  • Achieve PTCB certification within 1 year of completing the training program.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior work experience required.
  • Must not have completed another pharmacy training program.
  • Currently does not hold a Florida Board of Pharmacy registration.
