About the position

We are seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Rosedale, NY. The role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting the pharmacist with daily tasks, and ensuring efficient pharmacy operations. Candidates should have experience with the Micromerch system and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to pharmacy customers.
• Assist the pharmacist in daily tasks and operations.
• Fill routine dosage orders and prepackage pharmaceuticals.
• Count, package, and label unit doses for inspection by the pharmacist.
• Answer phones and manage customer inquiries.
• Put away orders and maintain inventory.

Requirements

• Valid PTCB Certification is required.
• Experience using the Micromerch system is mandatory.
• Strong time management skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills are necessary.
• Knowledge of procedures and standards for labeling and dispensing prescription drugs.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Resume submission is preferred but not mandatory.
