This position requires you to perform your technical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. Pharmacy services are available 24/7, and your schedule may vary based on the needs of the medical center, which may include weekends, shifts, holidays, and on-call hours. Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
  • Maintain the drug inventory effectively.
  • Accurately maintain patient records.
  • Perform technical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
  • Provide pharmacy services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Requirements

  • Obtain Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certification within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Hold State Registration as a Pharmacy Technician or State License as a Pharmacy Intern.
  • Possess a current driver's license.
  • Complete a formal vocational/technical training program for pharmacy tech or have 1 year of hospital inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a hospital inpatient pharmacy setting.
  • Additional certifications related to pharmacy technology.
