About the position

As a Pharmacy Technician at EmpowerMe Wellness, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and wellness of seniors by accurately managing patient prescriptions and maintaining essential records. Responsibilities

• Input patient prescription information into record-keeping programs accurately.
• Monitor and record prescription details with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ensure all records, both digital and paper, are easily accessible to pharmacy techs and pharmacists.
• Generate, receive, and maintain confidential and sensitive documentation and files.
• Quickly and accurately track data with minimal errors.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive patient information.
• Interpret and enter prescription orders accurately for pharmacist approval.
• Learn patients' needs and specific requests.
• Report to the pharmacy technician supervisor.
• Work closely with team members and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of Pharmacy Tech experience (preferred).
• Pharmacy Technician License (preferred).
• Exemplary attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Well-received and respected by coworkers with a willingness to maintain positive morale.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
