We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at CVS Health in Redmond, WA. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service. The Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of a pharmacist and will be responsible for a variety of duties that contribute to the overall efficiency of the pharmacy operations. In this position, you will prepare and dispense medications, ensuring that all prescriptions are filled accurately and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will also maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock levels, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs. Providing exceptional patient care is a key aspect of this role, as you will be answering inquiries, locating items, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist when necessary. Additionally, you will process medication orders or prescriptions by entering data into the computer system, which requires attention to detail and accuracy. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, with expected hours ranging from 20 to 25 hours per week. The work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy assistant
