About the position

As a Pharmacy Technician at Sam's Club, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our members. Your primary responsibility will be to assist members with their pharmacy needs, which includes processing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders, stocking pharmacy supplies, and ensuring that all pharmacy operations comply with company policies and procedures. You will be expected to operate hardware such as cash registers, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges. Your ability to acknowledge member needs and resolve any issues will be key to enhancing their shopping experience. In addition to member service, you will be responsible for maintaining the pharmacy area, which includes receiving and stocking merchandise, organizing supplies, and completing necessary paperwork and documentation. You will collaborate with managers, co-workers, and other business partners to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Your role will also involve adhering to company policies and ethical standards, utilizing the Open Door Policy when necessary, and continuously seeking improvement opportunities. Responsibilities

  • Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
  • Operate hardware such as cash registers, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Assist with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Stock and secure pharmacy supplies and merchandise, and maintain the pharmacy area by following company procedures.
  • Complete and maintain paperwork, forms, and other required documentation related to pharmacy operations.
  • Collaborate with managers, co-workers, and customers to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Requirements
