Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
  • Maintain the drug inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be enrolled in or have completed a Pharmacy Technician training program resulting in obtaining a Pharmacy Technician license.
  • If a student trainee, must possess a current Virginia pharmacy technician training license.
  • Successful completion of the National Certification Examination preferred.
