About the position

Join our team as an evening shift, full-time Pharmacy Tech at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This position is crucial in supporting the pharmacy operations and ensuring that medications are prepared accurately and efficiently. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist, assisting in the technical and non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing. Your role will involve maintaining competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications, which is essential for patient care. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Participate as a reliable and punctual member of the pharmacy team.
  • Maintain competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.
  • Perform related work as required.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy (must be attained within 90 days of employment).

Nice-to-haves

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
  • 2+ years of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience (inclusive of training programs).
