About the position

Join our team as a full-time Pharmacy Technician at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This position is for the evening shift and offers a competitive salary ranging from $19 to $24 per hour. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of medications for dispensing, maintaining competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications, and ensuring that pharmacy operations run smoothly. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Participate as a reliable and punctual member of the pharmacy team.
  • Maintain competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.
  • Assist in pharmacy operations as required.

Requirements

  • Certified Pharmacist Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Mid-level Pharmacy technician experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy (must be attained within 90 days of employment).
  • 2 years of Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Nice-to-haves

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
  • 2+ years of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience (inclusive of training programs).
