In this role, you will be responsible for inputting information about patient prescriptions into record-keeping programs, monitoring, and recording prescription details with a high degree of accuracy. Attention to detail is paramount as you will ensure that all records, both digital and paper, are easily accessible to pharmacy techs and pharmacists. You will also be tasked with generating, receiving, and maintaining confidential and sensitive documentation to ensure the security of files and data. Responsibilities

  • Input information about patient prescriptions into record-keeping programs.
  • Monitor and record prescription details accurately.
  • Ensure all records, both digital and paper, are easily accessible to pharmacy techs and pharmacists.
  • Generate, receive, and maintain confidential and sensitive documentation.
  • Quickly and accurately track data with minimal errors.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive patient information.
  • Interpret and enter prescription orders accurately for pharmacist approval.
  • Learn patients' needs and specific requests.
  • Report to pharmacy technician supervisor.
  • Work closely with others within the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year Pharmacy Tech experience (preferred).
  • Pharmacy Technician License (preferred).
  • Exemplary attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Well-received/respected by coworkers with a willingness to maintain positive morale.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
