About the position
The Pharmacy Technician Lead Representative role at Evernorth Care Group is designed for certified pharmacy technicians who are eager to contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused pharmacy environment. This position emphasizes organizational skills, multitasking, and a commitment to providing quality care to patients. The role is primarily onsite and involves managing pharmacy operations, assisting pharmacists, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly by managing pharmaceutical stock and maintaining a clean pharmacy environment.
- Prepare reports and maintain records of physician orders and prescriptions.
- Calculate needed quantities, prepare labels, and organize medications for dispensing by the lead pharmacist.
- Answer questions and requests from providers and patients, both in person and by phone, handling transaction-related steps of purchases.
Requirements
- PTCB Certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year of start date.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on empathetic care.
- Experience in a retail environment.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice-to-haves
- 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience.
- CPhT credential.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.
