About the position
The Pharmacy Technician role at Evernorth Care Group involves supporting pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Technicians will manage pharmaceutical stock, assist in medication preparation, and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards while working closely with pharmacists and patients.
Responsibilities
- Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly by managing pharmaceutical stock and maintaining a clean pharmacy environment.
- Prepare reports and maintain records of physician orders and prescriptions.
- Calculate needed quantities, prepare labels, and organize medications for dispensing by the lead pharmacist.
- Assist patients and providers by answering questions and handling transaction-related steps for purchases.
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Mid-level PTCB Certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year of start date.
- 2 years of Pharmacy Technician Certification experience.
- Strong computer skills.
Nice-to-haves
- 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience.
- CPhT credential.
