About the position

The Pharmacy Technician position at CPS Solutions, LLC is a per diem role based at Eagleville Hospital, where the technician will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy, including medication preparation, delivery, and restocking, while adhering to pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver, and restock medications.
• Perform order entry and procure drugs.
• Assist nursing staff with medication passes to patients as needed.
• Bill for medications and pharmacy services.
• Carry out job duties according to written procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months (PPD).
• Documentation of MMR immunity or a blood titer proving immunity.
• Documentation of Varicella immunity (2 doses or a blood titer).
• Influenza vaccination required for hire between October 1st and April 30th.
